Rude Gal On a Budget-Nails Edition

I hate my hands. Seriously, during this whole idea for this post I never really paid attention to my hands. Recently I picked up a package of KISS gel FANTASY nails because I wanted to get my “girly girl” style on I’m also on a budget and nail salon is not in my vocabulary. These nails were amazing! A lot of people thought I got them done at a salon and when I told them I paid only 10.99 they were so surprised. They lasted me about 2 and a half weeks till they started to pop of which was good for me since I like to switch up my style often.

Luckily as my nails were popping of I received a package in the mail from Wish, a shopping app which is similar to amazon but majority of the stuff comes from china. I ordered nails back in January to try out and they said it would take about 2 weeks to arrive. It’s now May and they came about 3 days ago. So, if you like waiting. Order from wish.
[ I also ordered sunglasses, earrings and a mount for my iPad. The glasses were fabulous, earring came broken and the mount is super solid I love it!]
Now let’s get into this DIY
 
Quick Nail Set under 10$
 
Here’s what you need:
100pc Nail Set
Nail Glue (Usually comes with sets)
Nail polish (Colored and Top Coat)
Crystals or Gems (optional)

Step 1
PREP YOUR NAILS. Clean off old polish, cut nails down, get those cuticle’s looking fresh!
Step 2
Pick your Nail sizes.
-the sets come with 100+ nails so make sure you chose the right ones. This can make a huge difference in making it look as natural as possible
Step 3
There’s 2 options here. You can either paint the nail before you glue them on or glue them on then paint. It’s really up to you. If you don’t have a steady hand its probably best to glue them on first.
Step 4
PAINT AND DRY! Depending on the nail polish you used you may or may not need to do the whole UV light thing but since I used Megs Cosmetics Twin set I let the nails air dry which was super quick. (Megs Cosmetics is now my favorite nude nail polish. Shout out to ipsy for putting one in my bag for May) You also may need to do more than one coat and be sure to add a clear top coat to lock it in!
Step 5
Once nails are dry, depending on what u chose to do in step 3, you are now ready to FLASH DEM NAILS GURLLLLL!!! I added little crystals at the tips of my nails for something different but u can add anything hers a link to some cool nail gems I may use in the near future.
