You just got paid and your super excited because you can finally pick up the new Fenty X Puma collection that you've been waiting for since last year. BOOM BUT THEN bills bills bills coming in like Destiny's Child and you realize you have about less then 30 bucks left and you still need an outfit for back to school party on the weekend. I'm here to help you with all that with my 4 tips on how to find the perfect outfit for back to school,a bashment or just taking a Lime Rude gyal style. Tip One Never Underestimate the power of your friends closet. People gain and lose weight all the time that's life and of course everyone has friends of all shapes and sizes. If you have a roommate this might work better but ask a friend if they have anything they don't wear anymore or if you guys are the same size borrow the worse they can say is no and if they say yes maybe they have a bag full of things they don't want and you didn't even know. Now you have free pants. Tip Two If hand me downs aren't your thing,SALES SALES SALES . Never underestimate the power of a sale. Even if the sale rack has things from the past seasons. For me the best deals happen when you buy off season sale racks. Of course finding your size may be hard but your wallet will thank you. Tip Three Value Village is LIFE!. Again this isn't for the people who can't handle the second hand ting. Value village has secret gems you just really have to look. Think of it as a thrift store version of winners. There will always be a deal on something great. Both of my outfits below feature items from there Tip Four REWORK! This is huge for me majority of my old tshirt that were too big for me i converted into crop tops. Jackets can be patched ,jeans can be made into shorts and the list goes on there is tons of DIY on youtube (be on the lookout for mine). Unless the item smells or you really just don't want it in can always be worn a different way.
